Was Will.i.am right to say Michael Jackson would've worked with Cheryl Cole?

He publically poo-pooed MJ's post-death album, but it still did great business. Now he's saying Britain's Mime-Queen Cheryl Cole would've been asked to collaborate with MJ. Was he right to suggest this?
